While I understand what they were going for they want to challenge straight men to up their game and to be more sensitive loversit came off as condescending and misogynistic at a few points. At some point in my youth, I consumed a large swath of this reading material -- most of which was scholarly, clinical, or instructional in nature. For people who need illustrations of how to do basic techniques, this book can be a great jumping off point. However, the entire book is based off the concept that a woman needs a man to set her free sexually, and it's his job to do that by coaxing her out of her shell. I'm not sure I would be able to remember which finger to fold down for these card-palming tricks, although I suppose you could always have the book with you under the covers and perform with the aid of a torch. The "Glossary of Symbols" makes a nice page.
